Dawn Owens

Dawn is CEO and Partner at TT Capital Partners with broad responsibility across the organization. Dawn brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience to the firm and has a reputation nationally as a dynamic leader who has led companies through various growth stages. In her role, Dawn engages industry stakeholders, from earlier-stage innovators to Fortune 100 leaders, gaining deep insight into the market forces driving disruption and the potential for continued innovation in healthcare.

Dawn joined the firm in 2014. During her tenure as CEO, Dawn led the sale of the healthcare investment banking business (TripleTree) to CapitalOne. When the sale closed in 2021, Dawn remained with TT Capital Partners, which now operates as a fully independent firm. Dawn currently serves as a board member to TTCP portfolio companies Accanto (then The Emily Program), CareConnectMD, MacroHealth, and Wildflower Health. Dawn previously served on the boards of InformedDNA, Navvis, and Remedy (which became Signify). She also serves on TTCP’s Investment Committee, Risk & Compliance Committee, Valuation Committee, and ESG Committee.

Prior to joining in 2014, Dawn served as the CEO of OptumHealth, a UnitedHealth Group company. Under her leadership, OptumHealth became a well-respected diversified services company serving payers, providers, and government services. During this time, Optum Health completed transformational transactions to enter into the healthcare delivery and military health markets. Dawn’s previous roles include serving as the Chief Marketing Officer of Ingenix (now OptumInsight) and President of Uniprise (now a part of UnitedHealthcare). Dawn started her healthcare career at Aetna Health Plans.

Dawn holds a B.A. from Grove City College with a major in International Business and German; she currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for her alma mater.
